Job description
Our client, a major U.S.-based enterprise in the travel and hospitality industry, is seeking an AEM Process Engineer to lead the transformation of digital marketing workflows and content supply chain operations. This is a highly technical, hands-on role that combines marketing operations expertise with systems engineering capabilities, focused on driving automation, scalability, and efficiency across marketing and promotional processes.
This role will own the end-to-end design, integration, and execution of workflow solutions, moving beyond coordination to actively building and implementing automation across Adobe and CMS ecosystems.
The Details:
- Location: 100% onsite in Dallas, TX (Love Field area)
- Duration: 6-month consulting role with potential for extension (must be able to work on Blend’s W2 without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future)

This role operates at the intersection of marketing operations strategy and technical execution. The AEM Process Engineer will analyze current-state workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design scalable automation solutions that reduce manual effort and accelerate campaign delivery.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable mapping business processes and building technical solutions, with deep hands-on experience across AEM, Adobe Workfront, and broader Adobe Experience Cloud tools.
What you’ll do:
Workflow & Process Engineering
- Analyze and map end-to-end marketing workflows, including asset creation, approvals, personalization, and deployment.
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities to streamline and automate content supply chain processes.
- Design scalable workflows to support high-volume promotional and co-brand campaign execution.
Technical Solution Design & Implementation
- Architect and implement automation solutions across AEM, Workfront, Adobe Target, and CMS platforms.
- Build integrations and leverage APIs (e.g., AEM, Adobe, Photoshop) to enable automated asset generation and deployment.
- Configure and optimize Adobe Workfront workflows, templates, and orchestration processes.
- Develop proof-of-concept solutions and scale them into production-ready implementations.
Content Supply Chain Optimization
- Improve the efficiency of digital asset production, versioning, and personalization workflows.
- Enable automation of creative production and campaign deployment across channels.
- Support personalization use cases through integration with targeting and optimization platforms.
Program Execution & Delivery
- Own delivery of automation initiatives end-to-end, from discovery through implementation.
- Develop automation roadmaps, including prioritization, technical requirements, and business impact.
- Create technical documentation, runbooks, and training materials to support adoption and sustainability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Creative.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing Technology, or a related field.
- 6–10+ years of experience in marketing technology, process engineering, or digital workflow automation roles.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end automation solutions within a defined project timeline.
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Deep, hands-on experience with:
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Adobe Workfront (workflow configuration and orchestration)
- Adobe Target or similar personalization platforms
- CMS platforms (e.g., OpenText or equivalent)
- Experience building system integrations and leveraging APIs (e.g., Adobe, Photoshop automation).
- Strong understanding of content supply chains, digital asset management, and campaign workflows.
- Expertise in process mapping, gap analysis, and workflow optimization.
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Soft Skills:
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive initiatives independently.
- Analytical thinker with a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
- Highly organized and comfortable managing complex, multi-step workflows.

The starting pay range for this role is $60-65 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
