Job description

Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Analyst, Continuous Improvement located in Arlington, VA.

The Analyst, Continuous Improvement supports performance improvement initiatives across procurement, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations within Venture Global’s LNG business. This role assists in applying Continuous Improvement (CI) principles, basic Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and data analysis to help improve safety, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Continuous Improvement, the Analyst works closely with Quality, HSSE, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support improvement projects, track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and help promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Continuous Improvement Support

  • Support CI projects and RCA activities focused on defect reduction, cost improvement, and operational reliability.
  • Assist in the use of standardized CI and RCA tools, templates, and reporting formats.
  • Track CAPA action items to ensure they are documented, assigned, and progressing toward completion.
  • Support cross‑functional teams by gathering data, preparing materials, and documenting outcomes.

Data Analysis & Problem Solving

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize data to identify trends related to quality, safety, cost, and performance.
  • Assist senior CI team members in identifying potential root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Help document findings and support implementation of improvement actions.

Knowledge Management & Documentation

  • Document RCAs, CAPAs, and improvement initiatives in accordance with CI standards.
  • Maintain CI records, lessons learned, and improvement trackers.
  • Support the sharing of best practices and improvement results across teams.

Culture & Capability Development

  • Participate in CI training sessions and learning activities to build personal capability in Lean and problem‑solving methods.
  • Support workshops and meetings by preparing materials and capturing action items.
  • Promote awareness of CI tools and structured problem‑solving approaches.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Assist with tracking CI metrics, KPIs, and project status updates.
  • Support the preparation of dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership review.
  • Help quantify basic operational or cost impacts from CI initiatives under guidance.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Operations, Business, or a related field required.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Quality, Operations, or a related analytical role.
  • Internship or co‑op experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or engineering environments preferred.
  • Exposure to CI, Lean, or problem‑solving methodologies is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Lean principles and structured problem‑solving tools (e.g., 5‑Why, Fishbone).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and basic data analysis.
  • Ability to document processes, findings, and action items clearly.
