Overview of the role:
The IT Specialist will work closely with business stakeholders, IT Supply team members and across multiple functional areas where solutions integrate across business process areas to deliver business solutions. This person will apply SAP leading practices to safeguard against solution designs that negatively impact business processes and protect the integrity of our ERP landscape inclusive of non-SAP systems.
The IT Specialist will have SAP application knowledge and system expertise within the Supply Chain area. On an on-going basis this person will work with IT and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional requirements/specifications, propose to the senior technical team the solution options with high level work estimates for implementation. The role is also expected to be part of the current sustainment model to ensure continuity of already existing live solutions in this domain.
The IT Specialist is recognized as a subject matter expert within Supply Chain domain and will possess project management skills and the ability to lead projects in implementation of new solutions and or business processes. This person needs to be able to collaborate with both business and IT stakeholders to design solutions that are adequate and compliant with IT strategies and frameworks.
How you will make contributions that matter:
Translate business needs to functional requirements while ensuring SAP leading practices are applied within the procurement domain.
Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
Lead medium to large sized projects inclusive of development of Work Breakdown Structure, project budgets and resource management
Interprets internal or external business requirements/issues and recommends innovative solutions
Assess, review and document detailed solution options with an eye toward cross functional application and/or business process impacts
Presenting work for review in structured walkthrough presentations of application systems to/with IT team members and business users during various stages of the system lifecycle process
Providing functional/technical leadership - mentoring and coaching other team members across multiple functional domains
Collaborating with IT specialists/solution architects/software vendors on business solutions, architecture strategy, roadmaps, standards and governance
Third level support - Assist in investigating, analyzing, and resolving production system issues/problems during standard working hours and off-hours
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
10+ years of total IT project delivery experience, of which 5+ years include working as a subject matter expert in one or more areas within the SAP Supply Chain domain (such as Ariba and ECC Procurement, Transportation, EWM and others) on large SAP ERP implementations.
Experience with S/4 and Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) would be preferred but not mandatory.
5+ years of SAP ERP implementation experience in Food and Consumer Packaged Goods industries with functional expertise and strong business acumen in multiple SAP functional disciplines
Experience and knowledge of SAP integration technologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to provide updates to Director and VP levels; adept at building relationships with internal teams and external partners
Detailed knowledge of SAP system modules and business processes within a specific process area
Ability to collaborate with a global team and collaborate at all levels. Strong people management skills including delegation, motivation, coaching, and conflict management capabilities
Ability to operate in complex fast paced project environment with interdependencies spanning multiple work-streams, teams, business divisions, geographies, time zones, & languages
As part of their duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.

Salary: $102,075 to $133,975
*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
