Credit Specialist – German Speaker

The Credit Specialist – German Speaker ensures proper customer credit limit settings based on annual reports, payment history, and business needs, in line with company Credit Policy. The role focuses on managing credit risk, monitoring customer payments, and maintaining accurate customer accounts.
The role will also support the smooth integration of a newly acquired company, with a focus on operational alignment and cross-team collaboration.
About the job:
Manage credit risk for the assigned portfolio
Suggest and review credit limits
Apply Credit Policy on order release activities
Apply cash receipts to customer invoices
Collect outstanding payments via phone and email
Participate in SOP updates and reviews
Prepare weekly / monthly / quarterly reports
Cooperate with Sales and Customer Service teams
Support internal and external audits
Ensure KPI compliance through operational processes
Provide back-up support within the Credit team
What we are looking for:
Confident German and English language knowledge (spoken & written)
At least 3 years of professional experience in Credit & Collections
Hands-on experience supporting system and business unit integrations is strongly preferred
Confident MS Excel and MS Word skills
Outlook knowledge
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven mindset
Ability to make independent decisions within scope
Team player with a solution-oriented attitude
