About the Logistics Analyst (Manifestación de Valor)
The Logistics Analyst (Manifestación de Valor) is responsible for ensuring full compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements. This role supports the accurate preparation and validation of Value Declarations, tariff classifications, and NOM compliance processes, particularly for electronic materials, while adapting to ongoing regulatory changes.
📍 Location: Mexico City
🚀 What You'll Do
Prepare, review, and validate Value Declarations in accordance with applicable customs regulations.
Ensure compliance with Mexican customs law, including ongoing regulatory updates and changes.
Perform accurate tariff classification of goods based on current legal criteria.
Manage and coordinate NOM compliance processes for electronic products.
Handle submissions and processes through VUCEM (Ventana Única de Comercio Exterior Mexicana).
Support internal and external audits related to customs compliance.
Identify and mitigate compliance risks related to import/export operations.
Maintain proper documentation and records aligned with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, legal, finance) to ensure trade compliance.
🧩 What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, Law, or related field.
5–7 years of experience in customs compliance or international trade, preferably in technology companies.
Strong knowledge of Value Declarations, tariff classification, and NOM regulations.
Hands-on experience managing processes in VUCEM.
Familiarity with Mexican customs law and regulatory updates.
Experience supporting audits and compliance programs.
Preferred Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Ability to adapt to regulatory changes.
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
