Overview
The Localization Engineer is responsible for pre and post processing translatable content to optimize localization. They automate content clean-up for better output. The Localization Engineer creates scripts and macros to optimize content. Entry-level position.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Pre and post processing of a diverse range of translatable content to optimize localization workflows.
• Automating content clean-up for better MT output.
• Creation of scripts and macros to optimize source content.
• Additional duties as required.
Requirements
• Experience with custom trained MT.
• Knowledge of basic MT training principles.
• Good knowledge of Regex.
• Thorough understanding of content parsers configuration across different localization systems.
• Willingness to work overtime if necessary.
• Remote, office, or hybrid work environment depending on specific position.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
• Quick learner.
• Problem-solver with a strong sense of initiative.
• Excellent written/oral communication skills in English

• AI Prompting skills, Github and nested JSON file

• Experience with TMS tools like GlobalLink and connector configuration
