Senior Government & Capital Property Manager (Level M)

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Government & Capital Property Manager (Level M) to join our team in either Berkeley, MO or Mesa, AZ.

Are you ready to take on a vital role in managing our company's assets? We are seeking a dedicated Property Management Specialist to ensure compliance with contract provisions and enhance our property management processes. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and shop personnel, fostering collaboration to effectively manage property and support ongoing projects.

Position Responsibilities:  

  • Lead a large, multi-level property management organization including senior managers and front-line managers responsible for property control and management activities. 
  • Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies, procedures, and strategies to drive efficiencies and ensure compliance with mandated government property management system outcomes (FAR/DFARS/NFS). 
  • Provide subject-matter oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, processes, and supplier technical management related to government property. 
  • Acquire and deploy resources for departmental activities and lead continuous process improvement initiatives to increase effectiveness and reduce cost/risk. 
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with internal customers, Boeing stakeholders, suppliers, and government/industry customers. 
  • Manage, coach, develop, and motivate staff at multiple levels; establish performance expectations and drive talent development. 
  • Oversee property accounting, physical inventories, reporting, disposal, and transfer processes to meet contractual and regulatory obligations.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • 10+ years of management experience or experience leading teams
  • 10+ years demonstrated experience of team building, developing, and motivating employees
  • 10+ years of building stakeholder and customer relationships
  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Experience interfacing and dealing directly with government customers
  • Experience using lean principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and NASA FAR Supplement (NFS)
  • Experience in working in materials management, warehousing, supply chain or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in contract administration, negotiations, and proposal development
  • Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • Professional certification issues by the National Property Management Association (NPMA)

Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Position may require travel up to 50% of the time

Summary pay range: $163,200 - $220,800 USD
