HIH - Cloud Engineering Senior Analyst
As a Cloud Engineering Lead Analyst, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud solutions, ensuring best practices in cloud architecture, automation, and security. You will work closely with Agile teams to develop, validate, and maintain AWS cloud patterns while enabling application teams to efficiently adopt cloud technologies.
The ideal candidate is proactive, a strong problem solver, and highly skilled in Terraform and cloud architecture. You should have a passion for cloud engineering, the ability to work independently, and a mindset for automation and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
- Collaborate with application teams to help them adopt AWS patterns and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
- Ensure operational excellence, security, and compliance in cloud implementations.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Document cloud designs, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing and adoption.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Mandatory: Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- 4–7 years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong focus on AWS.
- Mandatory: Strong understanding of Cloud Engineering and Architecture, preferably AWS.
- Ability to design and optimize cloud solutions for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tackling cloud challenges.
- Experience in automating cloud deployments and improving infrastructure maintainability.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams.
Good to Have:
- DevOps development experience (CI/CD, automation, pipelines).
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD).
- Experience with AWS networking, security, and storage solutions.
Preferred:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Cloud Architect Certification.
