Full Stack Developer - Tech Development 💰 Salary: $165,000 - 185,000 per year

At Kentro we are looking for a JavaScript engineer!

📝 Rquirements

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (or an associates degree with 10+ years of experience)
  • Over 7 years of experience in software development
  • Proficient in both frontend and backend web application development
  • Professional experience with at least one backend language such as .NET, C#, or Python
  • Proficient in frontend technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, HTML, and frameworks like React
  • Strong database skills with SQL or ORMs
  • Self-motivated and capable of converting vague requirements into clear solutions
  • Willing to seek guidance and propose alternative solutions
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Gitlab or GitHub
  • Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members to address challenges
  • Skilled in debugging existing applications and developing new features
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DynamoDB, Postgres, MongoDB, etc., including schema design and advanced queries
  • Full stack development experience is preferred
  • Ability to work with various tech stacks, including .NET/C#/Windows/SQL Server, Linux/Python/Postgres
  • Security+ certification is preferred
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular is a plus
  • Knowledge in data analytics and visualization is advantageous
  • Experience with UI design and Atlassian tools is beneficial
  • Understanding of IA processes and accreditation is preferred
  • Must have active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a CI polygraph if needed

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are

  • Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using contemporary technologies and frameworks
  • Design and create responsive, user-friendly interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Build and maintain server-side logic utilizing programming languages like Python, C#, or Node.js, ensuring efficient database management with SQL
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality, performance, and security standards, optimizing applications for speed and scalability
  • Execute comprehensive testing of applications, identifying and resolving bugs to ensure reliability and performance
  • Stay informed about advancements in technology, including .NET Core, DevSecOps, YAML scripting, and data science tools like Data Bricks and Jupyter Notebook
  • Research, test, build, and manage integrations according to government requirements, demonstrating knowledge of version control, Git, branching workflows, and Agile methodologies
  • Collaborate with government leads to develop concepts for site design.
