Job description

We’re Scan.com http://Scan.com, the digital health scale-up making diagnostics accessible, fast, and transparent. Our technology speeds up diagnoses for timely treatments, improving healthcare outcomes for hundreds of patients each day.

We're doing diagnostics differently, with solutions tailored to both patients and providers, all backed by our technology and world-class customer operations team. Our B2C marketplace simplifies booking a scan, making it as straightforward for patients as booking a hotel. Our B2B platforms provide live scheduling at the point of care and harness AI to ease workflows for physicians, attorneys, and providers.

We’re looking for a Credentialing Coordinator at an exciting time - we’ve successfully launched multiple platforms and products, raised over $70m in VC funding, reached profitability, and have a growth trajectory of over 100% YoY.

WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING INVOLVED IN

As the key accountability layer in our technology-enabled credentialing model, you will be the guardian of the integrity of our national imaging network. Reporting to the Provider Network Director, you’ll oversee CAQH administration, sanctions monitoring, and delegated oversight. While our automated tools handle the heavy lifting of data pulls, you are the human intelligence that ensures proper review, documentation, and escalation. You’ll enable our leadership to make informed decisions by maintaining a "gold standard" audit trail in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

As a scale-up business, you can expect your role to develop over time. Here are some of the types of things you could be getting involved in:

  • Network Integrity: Managing the end-to-end provider enrollment process, ensuring every clinician in our network is fully vetted and ready to treat patients.
  • CAQH Mastery: Serving as our primary power user for CAQH ProView, managing profile pulls, re-attestations, and troubleshooting technical enrollment hurdles.
  • Compliance Vigilance: Investigating sanctions alerts and NPDB queries, ensuring that any adverse findings are documented and escalated with precision.
  • Delegated Oversight: Partnering with our largest provider groups to audit their credentialing standards and maintain accurate, up-to-date rosters.
  • Lifecycle Management: Owning the re-credentialing calendar to ensure no provider's compliance lapses, working closely with our Account Management team to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Audit Readiness: Keeping our documentation "boardroom ready" at all times, ensuring licenses, COIs, and accreditations are organized and up to date.

THE TOP 5 THINGS WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR ARE:

  • Seamless Onboarding: Achieve a "zero-lag" workflow for new provider credentialing, ensuring that the time from contract signature to "active" status is optimized and frictionless.
  • 100% Attestation Compliance: Proactively manage the re-credentialing cycle to keep 100% of the network in good standing without emergency, last-minute interventions.
  • Audit Excellence: Build and maintain a digital filing system that enables an immediate, clean response to internal or external regulatory audits.
  • Data Accuracy: Partner with the Tech team to ensure our internal provider directories perfectly mirror our credentialing rosters, eliminating data discrepancies.
  • Process Evolution: Identify at least two areas where our automated credentialing model can be further streamlined or improved to support our 100% YoY growth.

WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE

You don't need to tick all the boxes to apply for this role. Whether it's your first role or your fifth role, we believe everyone can add value, learn, and grow. However, these might be some of the ways you are currently adding value:

  • Credentialing Expertise: You have a solid foundation in healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, or managed care operations.
  • Platform Knowledge: You’re a pro with CAQH ProView and understand the nuances of NPDB query processes.
  • Precision & Detail: You have a "compliance mindset" and a high bar for accuracy—you’re the person who catches the expiration date that everyone else missed.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You are comfortable investigating discrepancies and can work independently to resolve ambiguous provider files.
  • Tech-Fluency: You are proficient in Google Workspace (especially Sheets) and are comfortable working in a technology-first startup environment.
  • Certification (Bonus): CPCS or CPMSM certification is a plus, as is experience with CAQH SanctionsTrack℠.
  • Niche Experience (Bonus): Background in radiology, imaging, or high-growth outpatient provider networks.

HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU

We keep our interview process short and sweet, and we’re a nimble team that can progress at pace. Here are the stages you can expect, but we might switch up the order of each step depending on team availability:

  • Introductory call/interview with Devin, our Senior Talent Partner. The call will be by telephone and will last about 30 minutes.
  • If there is an initial fit for all, we will invite you to a 45-minute video call with the hiring manager. This is a more structured interview that will deep-dive into the role and technical needs.
  • All of our roles will have a small assessment stage. This might be in person, a take-home assessment, or further video calls. Length varies, but we’re mindful of your time and try to keep it as simple as possible.
  • Meet the founders and/or other team members. Again, the length varies depending on how many people are involved and whether in person or via video call.
  • Offer!

BENEFITS

We go beyond the basics with our benefits package. Here’s what you can expect from us:

  • Salary Range of $65,000 - $85,000 + Bonus
  • 401k
  • Healthcare, Vision, and Dental
  • All the equipment needed for you to do your role effectively
  • Flexible working
  • Remote or hybrid working options
  • Personal Development budgets
  • 18 days PTO plus public holidays
  • 10 paid sick days
  • Inclusive policies designed by our team, for our team
