Vendor Scheduler

Guarantee effective and efficient management of the local supply chain flows in terms of procurement, planning and logistics activities, assuring high service level and the optimization of the purchases, transportation and stocks. Guarantee the connection between production and customer service, according with local and group policies and procedures.

Accountabilities:

• Efficient and accurate registration in SAPB1 of the materials flow:
  • Purchase Orders – issue and sends PO to approval.
  • Work Orders – releases WO and closes at completion.
  • Good receipt – manages good receipts matching packing slip, PO and invoices data.
  • Inventory Transfers – Picking transfer requests and inventory transfers documents.
  • Bill of Materials, product routings, price lists management to ensure accurate cost calculation.
  • Ensure correct storage of documents such as Work orders and packing slips.
• Efficient materials’ procurement, assuring consistency with Master Plan and daily Production Schedule.
• Efficient coordination of incoming deliveries of raw materials according to warehouse schedule and space availability.
• Efficient management of relationships with vendors ensuring proper information flows: communicate forecast, send purchase orders and make sure to receive invoices.
• Suppliers’ scouting, selection, negotiation including direct (materials) procurement and indirect (services) procurement according to the Group guidelines.
• Daily management of the production plan (Master Plan and daily Production Schedule).
• Manages traceability reports and customer service support if needed to avoid a CS activity interruption.

• High School Diploma with proven experience in the role or Master Degree in Economics/Engineering preferrable.
• Supply chain flows and logistics knowhow and abilities.
• 3-5 years of experience in similar roles
• Demonstrates strong leadership and the ability to influence stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
• Exhibits excellent problem-solving skills and makes sound decisions in complex situations.
• Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, with diverse audiences.
• Possesses advanced negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes in supplier and partner relationships.
• Problem-solving aptitude: Demonstrate a strong inclination towards identifying and resolving complex supply chain issues efficiently.
• Inter-functional thinking: Adopt a holistic "door-to-door" approach, considering all aspects of the supply chain process and their interdependencies.
• Negotiation prowess: Excel in navigating and concluding negotiations with various stakeholders throughout the supply chain.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Effectively work across different departments and teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Adaptability: Quickly adjust strategies in response to changing market conditions and supply chain disruptions.
• Start-up implementation: Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Manager to design and implement new supply chain flows in the start-up plant, ensuring smooth operations from the outset.
