Job description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of our infrastructure and applications. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products and services. You will report to Platform Delivery Team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle and perform platform, application deployments using cloud and on-prem services.
  • Collaborate with agile development teams to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Implement observability using Dynatrace, AWS cloud watch and related tools and monitor and maintain system performance, availability, and security.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation and AWS Lambda.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment and infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards.
  • Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the DevOps team.
  • Manage container vulnerability, applying patches and updates as required
  • Provide support for production environments, including on-call support as needed.
  • Support Apache, Jboss deployments, patching etc.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field with minimum 2 years of experience in IT industry.
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud platforms, experience with Apache and JBoss servers and ability to migrate servers from On-prem to cloud.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to build and maintain automations.
  • Knowledge and experience of Okta, oAuth, SAML etc is a plus
  • Experience using REST API for automation development.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and EKS
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Harness, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Dynatrace, Cloud watch, etc.
  • Knowledge of database management systems, Oracle, RDS, SQL and NO SQL Databases.
  • Certification in cloud platforms such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer etc.
  • Strong background and experience with agile/ SCRUM processes and tools.
  • Familiarity and experience with Gen AI tools
