Structural Steel Fabrication

We are seeking experienced structural steel fabricator- welder- layout-fitter at our AISC Certified structural steel shop. This role focuses on fabrication of structural and miscellaneous steel.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on structural steel fabrication (layout, cutting, fitting, welding)
• Fabricate mezzanines, stairs, platforms, rails, structure shapes, ladders.
• Read shop drawings and maintain quality standards

Preferences

• 5+ years structural steel fabrication experience
• Knowledge on operations of Cincinnati Press Break, Messer CNC Plasma Burn Table and CNC Drill-Line.
• Strong welding skills (MIG, Stick, Flux-Core), Welding Positions of 1G + 2G
• AWS D1.1 Certification
• Ability to read structural drawings and perform layout independently
• Ability to rig steel and use of overhead crane / combi lift
• Clean driving record

Compensation

• $22–$28/hr depending on experience and
