JOB PURPOSE:

The Quality Manager is the guarantor of operational excellence and regulatory compliance of the entire production site. In a highly industrialized context, its goal is to balance the maximum efficiency of ice cream production processes with strict compliance with food safety standards, guiding the company towards a culture of "Total Quality" through the monitoring of KPIs and the digitization of processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Quality System Governance: Overseeing the architecture of processes in accordance with centrally defined standards, ensuring data integrity and training staff on procedures and standards
  • Industrial Process Optimization: Implement continuous improvement methodologies to reduce scrap, complaints and non-quality costs
  • Food Safety Assurance: Chairing the Food Safety Team and managing the HACCP plan on production lines, analysing process risks (hygiene, allergens, contaminants...) and implementing corrective actions
  • Complex Audit Management: Manage second and third-party audits (certifying bodies, large retail chains, health authorities) and monitor corrective action plans.
  • Digital Quality Control: Implement and manage LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) systems and quality modules within the company ERP (e.g. SAP Quality Management).
  • Supply Chain Validation: Qualify and monitor strategic suppliers on a global scale, ensuring consistent quality of ingredients and packaging.
    Mediating between production needs and regulatory requirements

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Systemic Vision: Ability to navigate the complexity of a structured organization, collaborating effectively with the Operations, R&D, Procurement and Supply Chain departments.
  • Leadership and Change Management: Ability to lead and grow a large team of technicians and analysts, promoting technological and mindset change.
  • Resilience and Decision Making: Ability to make critical decisions quickly during production crises, balancing risk and business continuity.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Results-oriented based on rigorous analysis of quality KPIs and reduction of non-quality costs.
