Job description
Are you passionate about managing end to end portfolio, gaining wide procurement experience across packaging? Then this role is tailored for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement procurement strategies for packaging materials to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supply continuity.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for packaging, including sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and performance evaluation.
Collaborate closely with supply chain, production, R&D, and quality teams to understand packaging requirements and align procurement activities accordingly.
Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to identify new sources, innovations, and opportunities for value creation.
Build and maintain a robust supplier base, ensuring compliance with company standards and sustainability goals.
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with packaging suppliers to secure optimal pricing, lead times, and service levels.
Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and regular reviews, driving continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
Analyze procurement data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Support packaging development projects by coordinating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet project timelines and specifications.
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on packing materials and logistics in the FMCG sector.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in procurement software and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in procurement.
