This position reports to India Controller and is part of the Finance department, team or job family located in Pune and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Review of Project accounting, Oversee the project cost for Monthly reporting purpose and discussion with project manager on status of Projects. 
• Support for monthly reporting as per US GAAP and expenses review including comparison expense for actual vs forecast and documenting reasons for variance.

• Preparation of financial statements and notes to accounts as per Indian accounting standard requirement and working with auditors to get the Statutory audit completed
• Preparation of various financial information for the monthly/quarterly/Yearly reports
• Assist in preparation of details for Transfer Price audit and Transfer Price documentation for Transfer price study report purpose.
• Preparation and submission of reporting compliance and filing of annual return with Ministry of Commerce

The essential requirements of the job include:

• CA with minimum 5+ years’ experience with Industry /master’s degree in accounting or finance with 10+ years of industry experience.
• Experience in Direct taxes and project accounting.
• Working experience with MNC would be added advantage
• Understanding of Accounting principles (accounts payable, accounts receivable)
• Aptitude with a variety of software/system platforms (SAP, One Stream etc.)

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Ability to travel – list specifics % travel, overnight, within territory or locations -Very less travel may be 10 to 20%.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Time management & ability to manage priorities to be met
• Attention to detail and analysis of figures
• Excellent communications skills to work with a variety of personalities and cultures
