Job Summary:
The Procurement & Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of materials and services. The role involves strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders to support business objectives. This position plays a critical role in strengthening supplier partnerships, driving procurement efficiency, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost competitiveness, service levels, and delivery capability.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and strategic partners.
- Lead supplier negotiations, including pricing, terms, service levels, and contracts, ensuring best value for the organization.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions where required.
- Manage vendor bidding processes, finalize commercial terms, and obtain necessary internal approvals.
Procurement Operations & Process Management
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contract administration.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services in line with business requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs and manage inventory planning.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, records, and reporting.
- Identify and resolve procurement-related issues, discrepancies, and escalations efficiently.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with established policies, procedures, and approval matrices.
Cost Management & Value Optimization
- Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and demand optimization.
- Analyze market trends, pricing benchmarks, and supply risks to identify savings and mitigation opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing, discounts, and contract terms to achieve measurable cost reductions.
- Prepare, monitor, and analyze procurement budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Track savings, cost avoidance, and procurement KPIs for management review.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders (Finance, Operations, Production, Quality, Logistics, Lega, HR, Facilities & Bussiness functions etc.) to understand and support procurement requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business teams on sourcing strategies, supplier capabilities, and market insights.
- Provide regular updates and reports on procurement activities, risks, and status.
- Work with quality and compliance teams to ensure purchased materials and services meet defined standards.
- Liaise with Global Sourcing team on functional requirements to align with global policy & compliance.
Compliance, Governance & Ethics
- Ensure full compliance with applicable procurement laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Promote and maintain ethical procurement practices across all sourcing activities.
- Support audits and reviews by ensuring procurement documentation and processes are audit ready.
- Monitor adherence to procurement policies and proactively address deviations or risks.
