Accounts Payable Manager

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for leading the company’s accounts payable operation, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.  The role has one direct report. 

Specific Job Duties Include:

• Manage and supervise the accounts payable coordinator and daily operations
• Oversee invoice processing, coding, and approvals
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries
• Prepare and review accounts payable reports and aging analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support audits by providing required documentation and reports
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement efficiencies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in accounting or related field
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience at $100M+ revenue company
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Proficiency in Excel & Concur
