Job Summary of Member Service Representative

You are responsible for supporting sales operations, delivering exceptional service tasks, and assisting the customer service staff. The central goal of this role is to enhance client relationships, promote loyalty, and aid in the expansion of individual consumer businesses by delivering customized financial options and an exceptional client experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Member Service Representative:

• Help process business credit applications that are $250,000 or less in value and refer larger lending opportunities to the appropriate departments for consideration.
• Establish referral channels by involving Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program to broaden referral sources.
• Create plans to broaden the small business client base and implement sales strategies aimed at the specific Book of Business clientele.
• Ensure exceptional client service by utilizing both outbound and inbound calls to strengthen current relationships and expand the customer base.
• Provide guidance to Tellers and branch personnel on product options, customer needs assessment, and referral best practices.
• Educate clients on the multiple service and digital channels they have access to, utilizing marketing techniques to showcase product promotions and financial solutions.
• Follow Citibank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations when evaluating risks and safeguarding Citibank’s assets.

Qualifications and Experience of Member Service Representative:

• Applicants with between 0-2 years of experience in banking, retail, or sales will be prioritized.
• Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and technologies is essential for remaining informed about technological innovations in banking.
• Enrolled and compliant with NMLS Safe Act standards, meeting all regulatory necessities.
• Adeptness in communicating clearly through both written and verbal channels.

Salary

Between $54,100.00 and $75,500.00 is the annual income potential.
