Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud Focused 💰 Salary: $67,000 - 107,000 per year

📝 Rquirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Bachelors degree (preferred)
• Over 8 years of experience in Information Technology (required)
• More than 5 years of experience with public and private cloud engineering (required)

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are

• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and stakeholders to assess requirements and design technical solutions for the healthcare and research communities.
• Conduct in-depth research on new technologies and methodologies, providing strategic recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
• Deploy and maintain hyperconverged systems and solutions within a hybrid cloud setting.
• Manage and support Windows, Linux, Azure, and VMware infrastructures.
• Administer the backup and recovery infrastructure while developing a support plan with key IT partners.
• Oversee ticket management for service requests, incidents, and change requests.
• Provide after-hours and on-call support to resolve incidents, maintain infrastructure, and bolster operational efforts.
• Work closely with architects and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of infrastructure initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration with network, security, development, and application teams to integrate infrastructure components that support new technologies.
• Mentor and train junior infrastructure engineers.
• Act as a liaison between operations and architecture teams, providing escalation support for server and operations groups.
• Review proposed designs and architectures, identifying risks and offering remediation strategies in alignment with established standards and organizational architecture.
