We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Al Khor, Qatar. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications while providing exceptional support to our community. As a trusted member of our pharmacy team, you'll combine your clinical expertise with a genuine commitment to patient wellness, working collaboratively with healthcare providers and support staff to optimize medication outcomes and maintain the highest standards of pharmaceutical practice.
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products with meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established protocols
- Provide comprehensive and empathetic medication counseling to patients, including clear dosage instructions, potential side effects, drug interactions, and proper usage techniques
- Perform medication therapy management and clinical assessments to optimize patient outcomes and identify potential medication-related issues
- Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date patient records and prescription information while ensuring complete confidentiality and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate medication use, resolve discrepancies, and support clinical decision-making
- Manage pharmacy inventory levels efficiently, place orders strategically, and conduct regular quality control checks to maintain stock integrity
- Compound medications when necessary, following established procedures, guidelines, and quality standards with precision
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards specific to Qatar's healthcare system
- Supervise, mentor, and train pharmacy technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Stay current with the latest pharmaceutical advancements, clinical research, and industry trends through active participation in continuing education programs
- Analyze medication-related data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced patient safety
- Demonstrate innovative thinking in problem-solving and contribute to the development of pharmacy initiatives that enhance operational efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
- Valid pharmacist license to practice in Qatar (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
- Strong proficiency in medication dispensing, compounding, and pharmaceutical calculations
Experience: Minimum 3 years in Pharmacy
