This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects to ensure timely delivery, efficient resource utilization, and adherence to quality standards. The Assistant Project Manager works closely with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to manage project timelines, design coordination, and execution across all phases of the project lifecycle, including civil and MEP works through to final handover.Job Description
About the Role:
• Develop and manage project schedules at both macro and micro levels, including overall program, tender schedules, and trade-specific timelines.
• Monitor master construction schedules and track progress against plan, identifying delays and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders for design development, approvals, and execution of civil and MEP works.
• Manage documentation processes including RFIs, shop drawings, material submittals, and contract clarifications.
• Anticipate project risks and challenges in advance, analyze material and manpower requirements, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Track material requirements and long-lead items, ensuring timely procurement aligned with project schedules.
• Prepare and circulate project reports, MOMs, and updates to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Facilitate design coordination and ensure proper integration of all disciplines during execution.
• Support end-to-end project lifecycle management from planning and execution to final handover.
About You:
• B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Architecture/Mechanical/Electrical/MEP with minimum 5+ years of experience in construction project execution, planning, or coordination.
• Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6/MS Project and strong command of MS Office (especially PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of construction lifecycle, including civil and MEP works.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
