Short-Form Video Editor for Lawn Care Field Footage and Grass Go Content

I’m looking for a short-form video editor to help turn raw lawn care and landscaping footage into consistent vertical videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.

Most of the content will be for Grass Go, a lawn care software company. The footage itself will usually come from real field work, especially chest-mounted footage while mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, landscaping, and doing cleanup work. I also own a lawn care business called Belle and Brothers Lawn Service, and some of that type of footage may be used as well, especially cleanup or transformation-style footage when it fits.

The main job is taking longer raw footage and cutting it into strong short-form videos that are visually engaging, clean, and built for short-form performance. I am not looking for someone to fully finish the videos from start to finish. I want someone who can handle the core visual edit well, then send the videos back to me so I can add my own voiceover, captions, messaging, and final polish where needed.

This is important: I do not want captions added. I also do not need voiceovers added. I want clean edited videos that give me a strong base to work from.

A lot of the footage may come from similar types of field work, so a big part of this role is being able to create variety from similar source footage. I do not want every video to feel like the same chest-cam clip cut the same way every time. I want someone who can find different moments, vary pacing, use time remapping and speed changes when appropriate, and help make the footage feel fresh across multiple videos each week.

I am especially interested in someone who understands the feel of blue-collar short-form content. Real work, good visual selection, strong pacing, satisfying moments, and edits that support voiceover well. The content should feel natural and watchable, not overly polished, overly corporate, or forced.

Some videos may include app clips or screen previews from Grass Go, but only when they fit naturally. The goal is not to make every video feel like an ad. The goal is to make strong content from real work footage, with Grass Go fitting into that world in a natural way.

What you’ll be editing

• Chest-mounted mowing and landscaping footage
• Trimming, edging, cleanup, blowing, and general lawn care footage
• Occasional transformation-style footage from Belle and Brothers Lawn Service
• Occasional app clips or screen recordings from Grass Go
• Raw footage that will later have voiceover or final text polish added by me

Workflow

I’ll provide the raw footage and direction. In some cases I may also provide app clips or notes on what angle I want to take. Your job is to turn that into clean, watchable short-form edits that I can then review, polish, and finish myself.
