Job description
Updated: 03 April 2026
Freelance | 8–20 hrs/week | Remote (EU/UK)
Are you an experienced compliance, risk, or regulatory specialist with a sharp eye for real-world complexities in EU regulation (GDPR, DORA, NIS2)? Do you have 8 to 20 hours per week available alongside your main role or consulting projects? Join us in shaping how AI understands and applies EU compliance and regulatory thinking at scale.
About the Role 10x.team connects expert freelancers with leading AI labs building next-generation models. We are seeking senior compliance and regulatory professionals based in the EU or UK to help enhance the accuracy, depth, and practical application of AI-powered compliance systems.
What You Will Do
- Review and refine AI-generated outputs across core topics including GDPR compliance, DORA, NIS2, risk assessment, and operational compliance frameworks
- Evaluate AI responses for regulatory accuracy, practical effectiveness, and relevance to real business cases
- Draft realistic regulatory scenarios and case studies drawn directly from your hands-on experience
- Create scenario variations from multiple viewpoints (e.g. compliance officer, risk manager, regulator, executive)
- Identify oversights, flawed logic, or gaps in AI-generated regulatory content
In simple terms: You’ll assess and improve AI-generated compliance and regulatory content, ensuring it reflects genuine regulatory understanding, robust compliance practice, and current best practices. Rather than performing traditional compliance implementation, you’ll use your expertise to help AI systems deeply understand and reason about European regulatory requirements at scale.
Who You Are
- Senior compliance, risk, or regulatory specialist with expertise in GDPR, DORA, NIS2, or related EU frameworks
- Based in and eligible to work in the EU or UK
- Several years of hands-on experience with regulatory compliance and risk programs in complex environments
- Strong at evaluating regulatory frameworks, risk, and practical implementation
- Comfortable working independently and providing structured, critical feedback
- Available for 8–20 hours per week, with immediate availability
Why Join?
- Flexible, fully remote work that fits your existing schedule
- Apply your compliance and regulatory skills in a fast-changing, high-impact AI field
- Directly shape the next generation of AI compliance and regulatory knowledge
- Free access to our in-house AI Academy to build your AI skillset
- Clear onboarding, detailed briefs, and opportunities for recurring project work
Screening Process Our process is direct, transparent, and supportive:
- Brief written test evaluating your regulatory reasoning
- Short AI-based interview
- Compliance check to verify credentials and identity
Once selected and onboarded, you will be eligible to participate in new projects as they arise.
Join us to help shape the regulatory and compliance expertise of the world’s most advanced AI models!
