Position develops and delivers comprehensive, career management training, mentoring, and career coaching programs that provide the expert guidance and empowerment necessary to assist Olin MBA students and all Olin alumni in attaining their professional career goals. Advice is both strategic and tactical.The goal is to prepare them to independently manage their career and be able to define their capabilities, articulate their qualifications and goals, understand with whom they should "engage and network," and to differentiate themselves from the competition so that they advance their career. The major outcome is a higher degree of confidence both professionally and personally.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Coaching
Individually coach Olin students and alumni upon their request, to manage their career both in the short and long term. One to one coaching typically includes career strategy, personal branding, resume and other material development, advice on how to use LinkedIn, networking, interviewing and negotiating offer.
Workshops, Seminars, and Special Events
Develop and deliver executive career management workshops, seminars, boot camps, and special events for the current students and alumni via in-class, virtual and webinar formats. Identify and engage external experts as appropriate. Manage event communication, registration, and execution.
Career Resources
Create and curate career resources, tools, and communication channels for professional and executive student and alumni populations globally. This includes elements such as website resources, alumni communities, career assessments, resume evaluation tools, job postings, and the content library.
University and Association Partnership
Partner with recruitment team, admissions, faculty, student affairs, and other staff in the Olin Business school and CCE to best meet the career development needs of Olin students, alums, and special communities such as the Olin Veterans Association. Represent Olin Career Resources at national career and business school conferences.
Professional Development
Maintain expertise in the career field including staying abreast of recent developments (e.g., AI in the career search), industry trends, etc. Includes professional development programs and courses.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in higher education, business, organizational development or in a related field
- Experience holding leadership roles in business, non-profit or military including P&L experience.
- Experience in delivering presentations both in person and digitally.
- Extensive knowledge of employment market and executive hiring practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills required to establish relationships with a diverse audience.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization across and within groups.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of time both domestically and internationally.

$75,200.00 - $128,800.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.Questions
