First-line Product Support Supply Chain Manager (K-level)

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is hiring for a First-line Product Support Supply Chain Manager (K-level) to join the team located in San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing supply chain activities within Product Support.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:

To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience within Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience establishing relationships and maintaining strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors
  • Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross-functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
  • Ability to work any shift, as assigned

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
  • 3+ years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team or program
  • 3+ years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
  • Experience with EVM and CAM supporting Boeing DoD contracts

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $114,750 - $155,250 USD
