Clinical Fellow SLP in Norfolk, VA

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting located in Norfolk, VA. This role is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or an experienced SLP with school-based practice expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language assessments for students to identify communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly
• Provide direct therapy services to students within the school environment
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation consistent with school and state guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary support for students Qualifications/Experience:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or certification to practice as an SLP in Virginia
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion required if applicable
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Knowledge of IDEA and other special education regulations is beneficial
