Position Summary

We are seeking a Test Director / Test Programme Manager to lead end-to-end quality assurance and testing strategy across a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. This role will operate at a programme level, ensuring alignment between business objectives, delivery milestones, and quality outcomes across a complex, multi-system landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall test strategy and programme-level QA governance across SAP and integrated systems
• Own end-to-end testing lifecycle, including SIT, UAT, regression, and release readiness
• Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between business processes and system delivery
• Provide programme-level reporting on risks, dependencies, and quality metrics
• Drive UAT strategy, business readiness, and stakeholder sign-off processes
• Manage multiple workstreams across SAP and non-SAP integrations
• Ensure effective coordination between SI partners, business teams, and delivery leads
• Define and implement quality frameworks, standards, and governance models
• Lead risk mitigation strategies and escalate critical issues to leadership

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading SAP testing programmes or large-scale ERP transformations
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA programmes
• Proven ability to operate at programme and executive stakeholder level
• Experience managing multi-vendor and system integrator environments
• Strong understanding of integration testing and complex system landscapes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Technical Skills

• SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC landscapes
• Test management tools (JIRA, qTest, ALM, Azure DevOps)
• Understanding of test automation frameworks (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, Selenium)
• Integration testing across SAP and non-SAP systems
• Data migration and validation processes
• Programme reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, dashboards)
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD concepts (preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in SAP testing, programme delivery, or ERP transformation
• Proven experience leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA programmes
• Experience working within complex, multi-vendor environments
• Strong background in stakeholder and executive-level communication
• Relevant certifications (preferred):
  • SAP certifications
  • ISTQB Advanced / Test Manager
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent programme management certification
