Job description
We are seeking an Internal Control and Compliance Director to lead and strengthen our internal control framework. In this role, you will drive risk identification, control effectiveness, and compliance practices while partnering with business teams to build a strong and sustainable control environment.
• Assisting in to assess the operational effectiveness of general business processes
• Conducting regular controls, analysis and tests for control deficiencies
• Proposing and implementing remedial actions in response to risk and control findings and monitoring according to changing work environment
• Assessing access controls in systems according to Segregation of Duties
• Designing RACI matrices, flow charts, Risk Control Matrices, Root Cause Analysis and updating them regularly with business units
• Implementing, managing and monitoring internal control activities to achieve an efficient and effective internal controls system which is continuously improve
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines
- 8+ years of professional experience in a big four advisory firm, bank, leading group or insurance company with focus on risk management, internal controls and/ or internal audit practices
- Experience with internal audit, internal control and risk assessment frameworks (COSO)
- Process-oriented and problem-solving attitude as well as strong organizational skills and hands on mentality
- Strong communication and social skills
- Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Ability to work cooperatively with other internal departments and external service providers
- Industry relevant experience is a strong advantage.
