DevOps Engineer Security Clearance

Position: DevOps Engineer with Security Clearance Dev Ops Engineer (Cleared)

Location

Fairfax, VA (Fully Onsite) Clearance: Active TS with SCI eligibility Level: Mid-Senior Overview

• Support multiple mission-critical federal programs in a fast-paced, highly automated Dev Ops environment
• Work with a small, collaborative team of 4-6 engineers across multiple programs (not siloed)
• Strong opportunities for vertical and horizontal growth in a cloud-native engineering environment Responsibilities
• Support migration and deployment of applications in an on-prem cloud infrastructure
• Assist application teams with deployments, shared services, and infrastructure design
• Recommend solutions to maximize efficient use of hardware resources
• Develop and maintain automation using Python, Terraform, and Ansible
• Support containerized platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and containerd
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab, Jenkins)
• Implement monitoring and metrics using Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic
• Provision storage and manage data backup and restore solutions (OpenEBS, Gluster)
• Work in a Linux-only environment (CentOS preferred)
• Leverage Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) tools and technologies

Required Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
• Experience in a technical and/or regulated environment
• Strong automation and infrastructure-as-code experience
• Hands-on experience with containers, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux systems
• Experience working in a cloud-based environment with cloud-based tools
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (dynamic and compiled)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment Desired Qualifications
• Microservices architecture and design experience
• Experience supporting multiple programs simultaneously
• Strong understanding of observability and metrics
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent (highly preferred)
