Job Description

EBAD is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Cost Analyst to drive enterprise-level working capital performance through advanced financial analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and disciplined data governance. This role acts as the primary interface between Finance and Supply Chain, enabling informed decision-making across inventory strategy, vendor terms, and operational planning.

Role Focus:

  • Support project and stock inventory decisions through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Partner with procurement and category leaders on vendor terms and payment structures, quantifying cash, cost, and risk tradeoffs.
  • Support KPI reporting and interpretation for inventory, working capital, and cash metrics. Monitor and analyze inventory turns, days on hand, excess and obsolete and slow moving inventory, across all categories.
  • Own master data governance support and maintenance routines to improve transaction and reporting integrity.
  • Act as the primary interface between Supply Chain and Finance for working capital topics.
  • Drive standard work around inventory control and best practices across all three sites in EBAD.
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls and audit requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory and Working Capital Decision Support

  • Build decision models for inventory actions (safety stock, lot sizing, MOQs, lead times, demand variability) and quantify impacts to cash, inventory turns, service levels, and total cost.
  • Drive PFEP across all sites and ensure adherence to the process .
  • Support excess/obsolete reduction plans while protecting customer commitments and production continuity.

Vendor Terms and Payment Strategy

  • Partner with Procurement to evaluate payment terms, pricing structures, LTAs, and buy strategies.
  • Quantify tradeoffs across cash timing, total cost, and supply risk; provide negotiation analytics and decision briefs.

KPIs, Reporting, and Insights

  • Own reporting and interpretation of supply chain finance KPIs: inventory turns/aging, excess and obsolete, DOH/DPO, cash conversion impacts, and key drivers.
  • Build simple dashboards and narratives for operating cadence reviews; identify root causes and action-focused insights.
  • Support inventory forecast and report on monthly outlooks. Ensures accurate inventory valuation and reconciliation in coordination with accounting and finance.
  • Supports SIOP process related to inventory projections.

Master Data Management and Maintenance

  • Support governance and upkeep for key data elements impacting supply chain performance and financial results (item master, vendor master, planning parameters, terms fields).
  • Ensures and drives accountability across planning teams to maintain system integrity on reordering method and other inventory parameters within item master.
  • Establish and run routines for exception reporting, audits, and change control in partnership with Supply Chain, Finance Systems/IT, and Accounting.
  • Reduce manual workarounds and errors (invoice holds, planning exceptions, cost/valuation issues) through process discipline and targeted fixes.

Cross-Functional Problem Solving

  • Serve as the working capital bridge between Supply Chain and Finance; align assumptions, reporting definitions, and action plans.
  • Coordinate problem solving across Operations, Programs, Quality, Engineering, Accounting, and IT as needed.
  • Apply EBOS practices around problem solving activities.

Scope and Decision Rights

  • Accountable for: financial modeling, KPI integrity, master data governance support, and decision support. Build policies around planning processes and train planning managers and planning team in the adequate inventory control process.
  • Not accountable for: supply chain execution (remains with Supply Chain and Procurement).
  • Influence through analysis, clarity of tradeoffs, and cross-functional alignment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, systems engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years in finance, operations finance, or supply chain finance roles.
  • Strong modeling and analytical capability; able to translate operational decisions into cash and working capital outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of ERP master data concepts and controls (item and vendor master, planning parameters).
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functionally and communicate clearly with leaders.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Manufacturing or aerospace and defense experience; exposure to inventory control and other strategic materials analytics
  • Familiarity with standard costing and inventory valuation drivers (absorption, PPV).
