Speech-Language Pathologist at Metro Physical Therapy (Suffolk County - Outpatient Clinic) Full-Time w/ Benefits!

Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Suffolk County. Strong Clinical Fellow applicants with experience in treating adults and dysphagia are encouraged to apply. This position is completely outpatient, however, is split between multiple clinics. Caseload demographics include: Aphasia, Dysphagia, Pediatrics, School-Age, Voice, Cognitive Communication Disorders, AAC use, etc. We have just partnered with NYU Langone and will be building our outpatient clinics. 

Metro is looking for a motivated, compassionate, forward-thinking Speech Therapist who excels at assessing patients’ strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans. We’re looking for flexible and all-in teammates who are excited by the opportunity to take on emerging challenges.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: Salary $80,000-$90,000 + Incentives

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
