Clow Valve - Temporary Summer Help Utility- 2nd Shift

Clow Valve is looking for temporary summer help for our hydrant and valve  departments. This is a temporary, full-time utility position. 

2nd Shift position- Monday-Thursday 3pm-1am

Starting Wage: $27.16

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and material
• Positions parts and components by using work instructions.
• Verifies specifications by testing product and visually inspecting quality.
• Assembles products using hand tools and other equipment.
• Resolves verifiable assembly problems to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources if needed.
• Palletizes and gets product ready for shipment, once complete. 
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing production requirements as needed

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
• Standing greater than 6 hours per day.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions.
• Ability to work around machinery.
• Ability to use hand tools & do repetitive work.
• Manufacturing Experience is considered.
• Ability to wear PPE including but not limited to earplugs, safety glasses, metatarsal & guarded boots.
