COBOL Developer – Power & Utilities

Role Summary
Seeking a COBOL Developer with utilities-domain experience to interpret and validate legacy system logic for modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze COBOL modules supporting customer service, billing, and field operations
Validate extracted business rules and resolve logic ambiguities
Translate technical legacy logic into clear business meaning
Collaborate with AI ingestion, agentic development, and use‑case teams
Deliver documented business rules and clarified workflow mappings

Required Qualifications

Strong COBOL expertise
Experience with electric power utilities systems
Ability to translate technical logic into business context
Background in customer service or billing processes (preferred)

Nice to Have

Experience with MACSS
