Job Description: As the third Forward Deployed Engineer at Adonis, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering and real-world healthcare impact. You will lead on-site discovery at major health systems, writing production code to integrate with EHR platforms like Epic and Athena. This high-impact role combines technical depth with commercial acumen to solve multi-billion dollar billing challenges.

What you will do

• Lead on-site discovery and own end-to-end production deployments for enterprise health system partners running Epic, Athena, and Cerner.
• Write production-grade Python and TypeScript code to extract and process data from complex EHR SQL databases, FHIR APIs, and HL7 feeds.
• Collaborate with Solutions Consultants to translate customer workflow pain points and ROI requirements into scalable technical implementations.

The ideal candidate

• Eight or more years of full-stack software engineering experience with deep proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and advanced SQL performance optimization.
• Strong commercial mindset and ""founder"" mentality, comfortable navigating ambiguous enterprise environments and communicating with customer stakeholders.
• Previous experience with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, or direct integrations with major Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
