HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to support People Managers across all Marsh businesses in the Pacific Region.

HR Managers coach, support and advise People Managers, aiming to develop and enhance the quality of people management throughout the colleague lifecycle, and therefore have a direct and positive impact on the quality of the colleague experience across Marsh.

We will count on you to:

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to People Managers, assisting with queries and escalating complex matters to senior HR colleagues for support.
  • Draft and maintain accurate HR documentation (e.g., meeting notes, case files, letters) and ensure records are updated in HR systems
  • Assist in employee relations activities by gathering facts, supporting investigations, preparing meeting materials and ensuring follow-up actions are tracked under guidance
  • Support people managers with performance management actions
  • Help deliver communications and change initiatives by preparing materials and supporting manager briefings
  • Coordinate wellbeing, leave and return-to-work administration with relevant teams
  • Support rollout of regional HR programs and contribute ideas to streamline administrative processes and improve manager experience

What you need to have:

  • HR generalist experience and confidence to manage standard HR activities with appropriate support from senior colleagues
  • Experience supporting managers with employee relations cases of routine to moderate complexity, and the judgment to escalate when specialist input is required
  • Ability to coach and support People Managers at various levels on everyday HR matters, with a collaborative and consultative approach
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to improve People Services and to contribute to projects that enhance service to People Managers

What makes you stand out:

  • Strong HR generalist background with practical experience in a corporate environment
  • Comfortable working with leaders and managers across levels, able to build rapport and provide clear, practical guidance
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, adapt and work in partnership with colleagues to deliver change
  • An interest in staying current with HR and industry trends and sharing practical insights with the team and business

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities
  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being
