We're seeking someone to join our team as a Facility Manager-Branches maintain a close working partnership with all peer group managers, and local senior and branch management as required and also maintain operational relationships with outsourced service partners core team. What you'll do in the role:

  • You will establish partnerships at all levels within the service partners organizations and with their suppliers, emphasizing: collaboration, clear expectations, common goals, trust and transparency
  • You will ensure service partners are on track to meet agreed SLAs and are delivering per contracted KPIs
  • You will oversee all general facilities management, engineering infrastructure, housekeeping and other property related services across the managed locations (approx500 office spaces, ranging in size between 10,000sqft - 500,000sqft) ensuring that Real Estate Operations maintenance service partners operate in an effective manner and in compliance with Morgan Stanley's rules and guidelines, thereby minimizing risk and protecting the Firm and its franchise.
  • You will take the lead role in managing, supporting, and communicating critical incidents where business may be exposed to risk arising from down-time of critical systems.
  • You will assist in the implementation of infrastructure system monitoring (smart building technology) as well as building emergency response, incident management and escalation procedures.
  • You will maintain frequent and direct interaction with service partners, directly and indirectly contracted vendors, landlords and internal BU clients in the maintenance and planning of new and existing office locations.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or equivalent business experience
  • Strong relationship and interpersonal skills with an attention to detail mindset and ability to think like an owner.
  • Experience in sustainability, health and safety initiatives
  • Experience in managing large office campus (more than a million sq.ft) with modern workspace features
  • Proven track record for setting highest level of maintenance standards and providing the right environment and infrastructure support for operating best-in-class amenities like gymnasium, in-house kitchen, child care facilities, health care center etc.,
  • Proficient in administrative documentation such as Microsoft Office 365 (incl. Teams, SharePoint), presentation creation and execution, verbal and written communication
  • Experience in directly managing the execution of facilities maintenance and repair services in a corporate environment is a plus, including the use computerized maintenance management systems and other facilities management applications.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $130,000 and $183,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
