Summary: Serve as a critical liaison between the business community and the IT organization, providing technical solutions tailored to meet user needs. Leverage expertise in the supported business unit and understanding of IT systems to automate and optimize processes, while enhancing the enterprise's competitive edge.

Responsibilities:

Analyze business partner operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for process automation.
Assist in business process redesign and documentation for new technology implementations.
Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization.
Facilitate communication and negotiate agreements between business units and IT, ensuring smooth project implementation.
Educate the IT organization on business direction and strategic objectives.
Stay informed on technological trends and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance business capabilities.
Participate in the evaluation of buy vs. build decisions regarding technology solutions.
Work collaboratively with business partners to align technology solutions with business strategies.
Occasionally lead projects and coach junior staff.

Required skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical or business work experience.
Intermediate professional level with the ability to work with business partners within one business function.
Demonstrated knowledge of business areas to resolve ongoing problems and support moderately complex business processes.
Experience working on multiple projects, with occasional leadership roles.
