Digital Transformation Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive digital transformation and operational excellence through innovative software development and strategic system integration. This role focuses primarily on building scalable applications, automating workflows, and integrating manufacturing systems while applying analytical thinking to translate business needs into cutting-edge technical solutions.

• Drive Smart Factory automation initiatives that eliminate manual processes and transform traditional workflows into intelligent, data-driven systems
• Identify and prioritize transformation opportunities and developing strategic automation roadmaps aligned with Industry 4.0 principles
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies (generative AI, machine learning, edge computing) and prototype innovative solutions that create competitive advantages
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core) with architecture principles and modern frontend frameworks
• initiatives to deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) with zero-downtime strategies
• Troubleshoot production issues systematically
• Develop middleware and integration layers that provide unified interfaces, ensure data consistency across distributed systems, and implement caching/async optimization strategies
• Monitor integration health with comprehensive logging, distributed tracing (Application Insights), and alerting while collaborating with vendors to troubleshoot integration issues

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in system analysis, software development, IT operations support, or related roles
• Manufacturing environment experience required (preferably HDD, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing)
• Proven track record of delivering technical solutions that improved operational efficiency
• Basic knowledge of C#.NET, vb.NET and LINQ or modern programming languages
• Familiarity with MS SQL and ability to write basic SQL queries
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

PREFERRED:

• Experience with enterprise systems
• Familiarity with IIS, Windows Server administration, .Net, JSON , Microsoft SQL
• Advanced data visualization Power BI / Tableau /Spotfire
• API integration experience (REST, SOAP)
• Microservices architecture experience (Docker, Kubernetes basics)

SKILLS:

• Basic C#/.NET development or modern programming languages
• SQL proficiency - query optimization, stored procedures, database design (MS SQL Server)
• Process analysis - experience with process mapping, gap analysis, requirements gathering
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills (Thai & English - written/verbal)
• Independent worker with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration experience
• Detail-oriented with documentation discipline
• Self-motivated and proactive mindset
