Legal Intern

AECOM is seeking a Legal Intern who will be responsible for supporting the Ethics and legal departments adhere to the highest standards of business practices. Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

The position will be based in Los Angeles, CA, and will offer flexibility for hybrid remote/in-office work options. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Research relevant ethical and legal issues assigned to by team
• Assist in developing compliance guidelines and ethical frameworks.
• Contribute to policy analysis and documentation.
• Assist in contract review, discovery, and other litigation support functions.

 

Minimum Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a focus on pursuing a career in law or a related educational field.

• Must have completed at least 3 years of study

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from experienced professionals.
• Able to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
• Willingness to work in-office at least three days per week.
