AECOM is seeking a Legal Intern who will be responsible for supporting the Ethics and legal departments adhere to the highest standards of business practices. Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
The position will be based in Los Angeles, CA, and will offer flexibility for hybrid remote/in-office work options. This is a paid internship.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Research relevant ethical and legal issues assigned to by team
- Assist in developing compliance guidelines and ethical frameworks.
- Contribute to policy analysis and documentation.
- Assist in contract review, discovery, and other litigation support functions.
Minimum Requirements
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a focus on pursuing a career in law or a related educational field.
Must have completed at least 3 years of study
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from experienced professionals.
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
- Willingness to work in-office at least three days per week.
- Sponsorship for US work authorization is not available for this position
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
