Objectives
- Ensure AeroTech assets are operating at optimum efficiency utilizing the preventative maintenance system.
- Diagnose, install, and repair various plant equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Must be committed to completing assigned tasks with little supervision and guidance. Must also be committed to requesting assistance when required.
- Perform routine maintenance and light to medium repairs to facility, equipment and systems that may consist of electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
- Work independently or with OEM support to diagnose machine malfunctions, determine needed repairs, and perform repair or provide cost and time estimate for an outside contractor to repair.
- Document completed repairs using Email system.
- Communicate task completion and any critical details.
- Provide recommendations for improving preventative maintenance activities.
- Develop processes for equipment maintenance.
- Participate on plant committees.
- Install new equipment or systems.
- Follow Safety, Health, Environment, and Hazardous Waste Rules and Responsibilities.
- Participate in 5S activities within areas operated by the facilities department.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Two years technical training in Industrial maintenance. Four years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance.
- Experience with but not limited to:
- Commercial AC units
- Commercial air compressors
- Operational understanding of forklifts
- Generators
- Previous maintenance work experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Ability to resolve situations in a timely manner and make sound business decisions.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to trouble shoot systems is a safe and diligent manner.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance tracking systems such as EMaint used to complete preventative maintenance work orders and track equipment performance.
