Job description

Reporting to the General Manager, the Hotel Manager plays a key role in planning, leading, and directing all aspects of the hotel’s operations. In this role, you will ensure that guest expectations are not only met, but consistently exceeded, while driving strong operational performance and delivering a meaningful return on investment for ownership. You will champion a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence—creating an environment where colleagues and leaders feel empowered to grow, develop, and reach their full potential. 

This position provides direct oversight of key operational departments, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and the highest standards of service across the hotel.

  • Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in hotel operations, including a strong Rooms Division background and reveneue management, preferably within an international hotel brand

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited hospitality school preferred

  • Operational Expertise: Excellent knowledge of hotel operations, with proven ability to oversee day-to-day activities across all departments

  • Financial Acumen: Demonstrated success in managing budgets, forecasting performance, and delivering strong P&L results while maintaining guest satisfaction

  • Regional Experience: Understanding of the Caribbean market, with prior experience working in the region or on an island is  highly preferred

  • Labor Relations: Experience working in a unionized environment, with the ability to manage relationships effectively

  • Cultural Competence: High levels of cultural awareness and sensitivity, fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace

  • Compliance & Safety: Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory standards in hospitality operations
