Job description
Position Summary
Reporting to the Global Sales Director, the Key Account Manager will lead the development and growth of key customer accounts in the U.S. and global markets. This role is responsible for expanding strategic relationships, securing new business, and driving sustainable, profitable growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with revenue and profitability targets.
· Lead RFQ processes, including pricing strategy and contract negotiations.
· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers across purchasing and engineering functions.
· Identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities.
· Analyze product and account profitability; recommend and implement corrective actions as needed.
· Serve as the primary commercial and technical liaison between customers and internal teams.
· Track and report on KPI’s, sales forecasts, budgets, and overall performance.
Required Competencies, Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
· 10+ years of commercial experience within the automotive industry.
· Strong understanding of the automotive supply chain, including OEM and Tier 1 relationships.
· Experience working in global, matrixed organizations.
· Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
· Proven ability to drive sales growth through strategic prospecting and closing.
· Fluent in English; additional languages such as Italian or German are a plus.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
