Job description

Overview The Social Media Manager will help organize and manage the day-to-day workflow for Khantrast Media’s client accounts.This includes scheduling and posting content, coordinating between videographers and editors, communicating with clients, maintaining Trello boards, and providing weekly updates to ensure projects stay on schedule.

Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand goals to increase visibility and engagement across platforms such as Meta, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Keep an organized posting calendar for each client to ensure consistent posting frequency.
  • Review captions, hashtags, and posting times for accuracy and engagement.
  • Monitor social listening channels to gather insights on audience sentiment, trending topics, and competitor activity to inform content planning and community management
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook Advertising to boost reach and conversions while optimizing ad performance through Google Analytics and web analytics tools
  • Schedule posts efficiently using applications such as Buffer (application) to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
  • Engage with followers by responding promptly to comments, messages, and reviews; build strong relationships through proactive communication and relationship management strategies
  • Proofread all content meticulously to maintain brand voice consistency; oversee quality control for visual assets and written materials before publication
  • Track campaign performance using web analytics tools; prepare reports that analyze engagement metrics and recommend improvements for future initiatives
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients for day-to-day updates, posting questions, or feedback.
  • Keep Trello boards updated with all client tasks, posts, edits, and shoots.
  • Follow up with editors, videographers, or clients to ensure tasks stay on track.
  • Create and assign Trello cards with clear due dates and details for each deliverable.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media marketing or management with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite for creating engaging visual content
  • Familiarity with social listening tools and techniques to monitor brand reputation and industry trends
  • Experience managing paid advertising campaigns on Facebook Ads Manager or similar platforms; knowledge of Facebook Advertising best practices is a plus
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and web analytics including Google Analytics for measuring campaign effectiveness
  • Skilled in content creation including photography, video editing, and proofreading to produce polished digital assets
  • Knowledge of social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer (application) for scheduling and analytics tracking
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships both internally within teams and externally with audiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
