Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Execute welding tasks on ship structures, decks, bulkheads, and other components using MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications accurately.
- Ensure all welds meet structural and safety standards, following company and industry codes.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform routine inspections to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and engineers to achieve project goals and timelines.
- Conduct quality checks and document work for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Identify welding defects, propose corrective actions, and implement repair solutions efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven expertise in MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored welding techniques.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication, marine materials, and shipbuilding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

- Physical stamina and dexterity for working in challenging shipyard environments.

Experience
