Duties

• Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and tailored to diverse student needs.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages social-emotional growth, positive behavior management, and active participation.
• Deliver engaging lessons across subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to foster holistic development.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing and observational techniques to monitor progress and inform instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in areas like special education and early intervention to support each child's individual development plan.
• Manage classroom activities efficiently by maintaining organization, discipline, and a safe space conducive to learning.
• Incorporate innovative teaching strategies including tutoring, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques to enhance student engagement.
• Support children’s welfare by promoting healthy routines in daycare or preschool settings while ensuring compliance with child safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as preschool or daycare environments.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management best practices.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various subjects including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists; excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education.
• Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.

Pay: $25.67 - $30.91 per hour
