DUTIES:
The Seasonal De-Palletizer Operator is responsible for the proper operation of the Depal. The qualified employee will be required to know the setup of the machines for proper production run. The employee will also be responsible for clearing misfeeds, starting, and restarting the machines. This is a seasonal opportunity with an hourly rate of $17.34/hour. The current need is on first shift. You will be flexible to work other assignments when not required to operate depalletizer equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Poperly operate the Depal equipment.
- Remove banding from incoming glass loads and feed it into recycler.
- Responsible for coordinating changeovers with the production department.
- Administer proper lockout tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Ensure machine and surrounding area is kept neat and sanitary.
- Adapt to changing situations and be able to establish priorities.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, QA, and Supervisors.
- Train employees as needed.
- Accurately complete all paperwork in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Follow a variety of instructions/documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
- Understand Vlasic policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
