At New Market Design + Build, we don't just build houses-we create spaces that redefine how people live. Our work is rooted in craftsmanship, precision, and a deep respect for both our clients and our teams. We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to lead complex, design-forward remodels from concept through completion. This is more than a project management role-it's a leadership opportunity. You'll shape the client experience, develop teams, and ensure our projects meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies that align with business goals.
  • Lead safe, efficient, and compliant jobsite operations; identify and mitigate risks proactively.
  • Partner with architects, engineers, and trade partners to drive coordinated execution.

People & Team Development

  • Supervise, mentor, and provide feedback to field staff and subcontractors.
  • Foster a culture of respect, precision, and accountability.
  • Lead with clarity-removing barriers and ensuring teams have the resources to succeed.
  • Champion continuous improvement through coaching, process refinement, and reinforcement of best practices.

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the trusted advisor for homeowners, guiding them through each stage of the project.
  • Provide transparent, consistent communication regarding progress, decisions, and changes.
  • Maintain professionalism on every site, ensuring property protection and client trust.
  • Enhance client satisfaction and referrals through a consistently high-touch experience.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure projects adhere to Philadelphia permitting, codes, and inspection requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation in Buildertrend, TSheets, and digital platforms.
  • Resolve compliance issues before they escalate, reducing risk and rework.
  • Uphold organizational standards for safety, ethics, and quality in every decision.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive responsibility in residential remodeling or new construction project management.
  • Expertise in blueprint reading, scheduling, and resource management.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, jobsite safety, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Proficiency with Buildertrend, TSheets, and Microsoft Office (or equivalent tools).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to inspire trust and collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; PMP or equivalent credential a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Availability Monday-Friday (7 AM-6 PM) with occasional Saturdays.
