QA Analyst
We are seeking a motivated QA Analyst to support manual and automated testing across our full technology stack—including hardware, software, machine learning models, and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that plays a critical part in ensuring product reliability and strengthening our quality culture across the organization. You will collaborate closely with Engineering (Software, Hardware, ML), Product, and DevOps teams to build and maintain a robust, end-to-end testing framework that supports fast, high-quality releases.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain test suites covering hardware, databases, APIs, web applications, ML models, and related system components.
- Execute functional, smoke, regression, and end-to-end testing across multiple systems to validate seamless interoperability between software, hardware, and ML pipelines.
- Partner with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, and QA peers to define test scenarios, ensure sufficient coverage, and align test priorities with business and technical requirements.
- Analyze manual and automated test results, providing clear, actionable reporting to stakeholders.
- Log, track, and prioritize defects using established tools and workflows, ensuring timely resolution and effective root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to sprint ceremonies by providing accurate test effort estimates, identifying risks, and proactively managing dependencies.
- Validate that applications meet established performance, reliability, and security standards.
- Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices, bringing forward recommendations for continuous process and technology improvements.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with the focus on manual testing.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience creating, executing, and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using bug tracking tools.
- Familiarity with testing web applications, APIs, and/or integrated systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with leading test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, or comparable frameworks.
- Experience with BDD automation tools and methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Strong working knowledge of version control (Git, GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Experience with performance or load testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of API testing tools and automation approaches.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of computer vision, object detection, or ML-based QA workflows.
- Background in industries such as automated surveillance, smart infrastructure, IoT, or embedded systems.
