Position Summary Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies. We are seeking an IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of data-driven healthcare solutions, with a focus on advancing analytics products and performance scorecards that support clinical and operational decision-making. This role will manage the full lifecycle of IT and analytics initiatives, working across multidisciplinary teams that include data scientists, data engineers, developers, and strategic stakeholders. The IT Project Manager will ensure that complex healthcare data products are delivered efficiently, aligned to mission priorities, and translated into actionable insights for executive leadership. The ideal candidate brings experience managing Agile delivery using tools such as Jira, combined with an understanding of healthcare data environments and the ability to bridge technical and business audiences. This position is remote, five (5) days a week, with some on-site if local as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Agile Execution

  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of IT and data analytics projects, including requirements gathering, backlog development, sprint execution, and deployment of analytics products and scorecards.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) using Jira or similar tools to ensure team alignment and continuous delivery. Planning, Documentation & Project Artifacts
  • Develop and maintain detailed project artifacts, including project plans, roadmaps, sprint boards, risk logs, and resource allocations. Cross-Functional Team Coordination
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of data scientists, data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated healthcare analytics solutions. Stakeholder Communication & Engagement
  • Translate complex technical outputs into clear, actionable updates for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including workshops, requirements sessions, and executive briefings. Performance Monitoring, KPIs & Risk Management
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs, sprint metrics, and delivery milestones, and proactively identify and resolve risks or blockers. Analytics Products, Dashboards & Scorecards
  • Support the development and delivery of healthcare performance dashboards and scorecards, ensuring data accuracy, usability, and alignment with stakeholder needs. Governance, Change Control, Quality & Compliance
  • Apply structured project governance, change management, and quality assurance practices across all phases of delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, healthcare, and data governance requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience managing IT, data, or analytics-focused projects in a professional environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira (or equivalent), including backlog management and sprint tracking.
  • Experience delivering data-driven products such as dashboards, scorecards, or analytics platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Understanding of project governance, risk management, and change control processes.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
  • Ability to obtain a public trust. Preferred Qualification
  • PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data environments, health informatics, or clinical/operational reporting.
  • Preferred experience supporting federal agencies, particularly within healthcare (e.g., VA, VHA, or similar environments). Compensation & Benefits
